Director shareholding

The Company was notified on 11 January 2008 that John Bason, Finance Director, had purchased 192 ordinary shares in Associated British Foods plc on 11 January 2008, at a price of £8.0907 per share, as a result of his participation in the Associated British Foods plc Dividend Re-investment Plan.
