On Friday, 12 January 2007 the Company was notified that John Bason, Finance Director, had purchased 78 ordinary shares in Associated British Foods plc on 12 January 2007, at a price of £8.325 per share, as a result of his participation in the Associated British Foods plc Dividend Re-investment Plan.
