ABF is a diversified group of businesses which enjoy a high degree of autonomy in the running of their operations. They are grouped into five business segments: Sugar; Agriculture; Retail; Grocery; and Ingredients.
AB Sugar
AB Sugar is one of the world’s largest sugar producers; employing more than 42,000 people, operating in ten countries and with a capacity to produce some 5.5 million tonnes of sugar and 600 million litres of ethanol each year. Its operations stretch from Europe, to southern Africa and to China, encompassing climates suited to both beet and cane, and sited in countries at all stages of economic development. The business also produces a range of co-products across its operations.
AB Agri
AB Agri is an established major force in UK agriculture and is increasingly operating on a global scale. It supplies technology-based products to farmers, feed and food manufacturers, processors and retailers. It has facilities in the UK and China and markets products in 60 countries worldwide.
AB World Foods
AB World Foods manufactures and markets a portfolio of major brands including Patak’s and Blue Dragon with an ambition to create authentic ethnic brands for international distribution.
ACH
ACH is a significant and diverse speciality food ingredients business operating across North America. Among its market-leading products are Mazola corn oil, Karo corn syrup and the leading corn starch brand, Argo. In Mexico, ACH markets the highly successful Capullo cooking oil and also the shortening brand, Inca.
Allied Bakeries
Allied Bakeries operates across the UK, producing popular brands such as Burgen, Allinson, Sunblest and Kingsmill. As well as bread, their range includes rolls, pancakes, crumpets, muffins, hot cross buns, wraps and other delicious bakery products.
Allied Mills
Allied Mills supplies ABF companies and other bakeries with milled flour and semolina, predominantly in the UK.
George Weston Foods
George Weston Foods produces many of Australia's and New Zealand's favourite brands including Burgen and Tip Top breads, Don deli products and KR Castlemaine meats. Its diversified business also includes large-scale animal feed solutions and flour milling.
Jordans Ryvita Company
Ryvita was started in 1925 developing the original crispbread product. Its snack range has been continually expanded to meet changing consumer demands. The Jordans cereals business was founded in 1972 with a strong commitment to conserving the British countryside. It merged with Ryvita in 2008.
Speedibake
Since opening in 1984, Speedibake has grown to become one of the leading producers of bakery products in the UK with a range of over 600 products.
The Silver Spoon Company
The Silver Spoon Company has a portfolio of leading UK brands including Silver Spoon, Billington's, Askeys and Crusha.
Twinings
Twinings has been a major tea business since 1706 and is now an international brand with more than 200 teas sold in over 100 countries throughout the world.
Ovaltine
Ovaltine's traditional products are largely unchanged from their original recipes but are now consumed in a far broader way throughout the day.
Westmill Foods
Westmill Foods is one of Europe’s largest specialist food companies, supplying a range of high-quality rice, spices, sauces, edible oils, flour and noodles to the ethnic wholesale trade, cash and carry stores, mainstream food service businesses and the grocery multiples.
Primark
Primark is a highly successful retail group in the value fashion sector with over 250 stores in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Austria.
AB Enzymes
AB Enzymes is one of the world's oldest enzyme companies and its broad product range includes food enzymes for bakery and beverage products through to enzymes for animal feed, textile technology and the pulp and paper industry.
AB Mauri
AB Mauri operates globally in yeast and bakery ingredients production with more than 40 plants in 25 countries, supplying plant and artisanal bakers and the foodservice and wholesale channels. It is a technology leader in bread improvers, dough conditioners and bakery mixes.
ABF Ingredients
ABF Ingredients is a group of businesses focusing on high-value ingredients for food and non-food applications. It manufactures and markets enzymes, yeast extracts, speciality proteins and lipids.
ABITEC Corporation
ABITEC combines synthesis and analytical expertise in organic compounds with a high-quality manufacturing operation to offer a wide range of exceptional ingredients to its customers.
Ohly
Ohly is one of the world’s leading suppliers of yeast extracts, yeast-based flavours and speciality powders for the food, biotechnology, health and animal feed markets globally. Its products are based on baker's, torula and brewer’s yeast.
PGP International
PGP International's grain division specialises in developing extruded particulates, high protein soy crisps, rice flours and blends, and gluten-free products. Its dairy division produces whey protein-based ingredients including concentrates, isolates, hydrolysates and lactose in the US.

SPI Pharma is a leading supplier to the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and animal health markets worldwide.
